Help! eHour doesn't do what it should do

Validate Backup file > failed to validate error:

Postby Miguel » Fri Aug 03, 2012 1:31 pm

I try to migrate my 0.8.4 ehour database data to mysql. The mysql database has been filled by using the fresh install sql file included in the ehour 1.0 war download. The ehour 1.0 win version now runs perfectly, but there (of course) no data in the mysql tables.

I figured it would be best to startup ehour with the internal dabatase, create a backup xml, then start the new ehour 1.0 version connected to mysql and inport the backup xml file. But then I receive the error:

Failed to validate
Errors:

Is this a known issue? For more info, see logfile included

I just read in the nightly build release notes that this is a known bug. I solved it by installing the latest nightly build. I was able to validate the xml succesfully after which i could perfectly see the data from the mysql database.
